After spending the day wading through paperwork and technicalities, I have decided to post my first blog post.
I am going on a study abroad trip this summer. From July 3 until August 11, I will be studying in Cusco, Peru. When my dad suggested starting my own blog for my trip, I thought it was a great idea. It seems like something that will help me to remember more of the trip as individual events, instead of a giant blur of Peru.
So far, I have been trying to prepare for my trip. I have come to the point where it feels like I am constantly forgetting something. Hopefully the something I end up forgetting will be a toothbrush instead of my laptop!
For now, I just hope that my cat can manage without me!
The cat will just be jealous. But maybe if you tell her that in Peru they are somewhat reverent about dogs, it might make her feel better. Maybe she should plan a trip to Egypt, a more cat-friendly environment (I hear).
